ABILITIES   :❝ WITCHCRAFT. Lilith is incredibly skilled in magic. She is the First Woman and the First Witch. Especially following her ascension to Hell's throne, Lilith has enough magical prowess that she is able to grant an increase in power to others if she believes them to be worthy of the gift.❝ LEADER. Given her power and wisdom, Lilith is a natural leader. While she spent much of her life under Lucifer's thumb, posing as Mary Wardwell and becoming Principal at Baxter High gave her a taste for leadership. From there, she began plotting to overthrow Lucifer, and eventually replaced him as Hell's ruler.❝ STRATEGIST. After being thrown from Eden, Lilith was taken in by Lucifer and remained by his side for thousands of years. He was extremely controlling and abusive towards her, making it almost impossible for her to hide things from him. He was also, at that time, far more powerful than she was. When it came to overthrowing him, Lilith had to be very careful - everything had to be kept close to her chest, because if he figured out what she was doing she would have been killed for her betrayal. She is very good at scheming, and relied on her strategic strength to quite literally save her own life.

❝ DEMONS, YOU FLED THE GARDEN . . .Lilith is the First Woman, created by God to be Adam's wife in the Garden of Eden. However, Lilith was unwilling to accept subservience; she didn't want to be lesser than Adam, nor did she want to lie beneath him. For this defiance, Lilith was exiled; she was thrown from the Garden of Eden for refusing to submit to Adam.
For a long time, Lilith wandered the Wastelands, surviving on her own until she met Lucifer, a fallen angel who promised her that if she helped him, he would make her his queen. The two entered into a relationship, and Lilith became Satan’s concubine. As time went on, Lucifer grew more and more abusive towards Lilith, making her no more than a pawn on his chess board.

❝ CURSED ARE YOU AMONGST WOMEN . . .Many years later, Lilith is sent to Greendale to steer Sabrina Spellman towards the Dark Lord. She murders local schoolmarm Mary Wardwell and transforms herself into her likeness, posing as the mortal woman in order to get closer to Sabrina.Over the next year, Lilith successfully inserts herself into Sabrina's life, becoming Principal at the girl's mortal school and identifying herself to Sabrina as a fellow witch and becoming a mentor figure. However, it becomes clear to Lilith that Lucifer is using her in order to groom Sabrina into become his bride and Queen of Hell - he has sent Lilith to secure her own replacement.With this realisation, Lilith begins to resent Lucifer. She finally understands that he will never give her what she wants - the throne and crown of Hell - and his constant cruelty ignites her determination to be free of him once and for all. Allying herself with the Spellmans, Lilith eventually overthrows her abuser and claims the throne for herself, becoming the first Queen of Hell.

❝ HAIL LILITH, FULL OF DISGRACE . . .Manipulative, calculating and sometimes downright ruthless, Lilith isn’t afraid to do whatever it takes to get what she wants. She is sassy and sarcastic, but also fiercely protective of those she cares about. She doesn’t trust easily, always half-expecting a betrayal even from those who are completely loyal to her. She can be vicious and cruel if she has to be, but the role of Queen has mellowed her a little. As ruler, she wishes to act as a mentor figure for her Coven, and she has been known to take outcasts under her demonic wing. Ultimately, she wants to be valued, respected and loved for the person she is, and relish lavishly in the power and autonomy she has finally obtained.Please note that this portrayal will draw from Parts 1 and 2 of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina ONLY. Parts 3 and 4 are NOT canon to this portrayal and will not be recognised as having happened to Lilith. This portrayal will also quite often act as a fandomless character, crossing over into any media enjoyed by the writer that includes themes of magic and the supernatural.

❝ TW: REFERENCES TO PAST ABUSE/TRAUMAREFORM After banishing Lucifer, Lilith reformed the court of Hell. She eliminated high ranking members that were unwilling to accept her as Queen and replaced them with other (mostly female) demons that were loyal to her.
UNDERDOG Lilith has a soft spot for the underdog. Be it witch, mortal, demon or otherwise, Lilith tends to find herself feeling protective over social outcasts. This is one of the reasons she was eager to ensure Theo Putnam was allowed to try out for the Baxter High basketball team.
PRINCIPAL Her time as Principal at Baxter High was a major turning point for Lilith. Not only was she a figure of authority, she was also in a position to provide guidance. This was her first real taste of being a leader and, in a roundabout way, prepared her for her role as Queen.
FIRE When she feels particularly strongly, Lilith is liable to accidentally strengthen any fire in her immediate vicinity. Think candle flames suddenly burning a foot high when she’s angry, fabric starting to smoke under her fingers when she’s jealous, and the fireplace almost exploding during a particularly good round of sex.
TRAUMA Although she puts on a brave face, Lilith’s time with Lucifer has left incredibly deep scars on her psyche. She struggles with her self-worth, believing herself to be undeserving of love, care or compassion.
NIGHTMARES Lilith has fairly frequent, sometimes intense or even violent nightmares. These are, most often, images of her past coming back to haunt her. On mornings following a nightmare, Lilith can often be found sitting outside, alone. Sometimes, she wanders the surrounding forest, listening to the birds.
TOUCH Lilith often shuns physical touch. After an eternity of being beaten by Lucifer, she struggles to accept touches without tensing up. She craves close contact with the people nearest and dearest to her, but still flinches if she doesn’t see the touch coming (hugs from behind are an absolute no).
SORROW When upset, Lilith runs. She hates to be seen in a vulnerable or weakened state. If she’s doing particularly badly, she disappears to Hell and seals the gates behind her. If she shatters, she shatters completely alone.
POTENCY Lilith’s blood is magically potent. Demon blood can be used in a variety of spellwork, but Lilith’s will produce more intense results. If ingested, it acts like a narcotic to which kind; heightened senses, increased adrenaline and a temporary strengthening of the witch’s magical abilities. To mortals, it is poisonous.
NAME Lilith is not fond of nicknames, for the most part. After being known as Madam Satan for so long, she likes to be addressed by the name she has finally reclaimed. Unless you are one of a very select number of people, addressing her as anything other than “Lilith” (or, of course, a royal title) is a surefire way to get on her bad side.

❝ TW: REFERENCES TO PAST ABUSE/TRAUMAWITCHY While she was living in Mary’s cottage, she discovered the mortal’s collection of spooky movies. On nights when she’d finished marking early and didn’t have anything better to do, Lilith would sometimes entertain herself with a movie. She likes the gory ones best, but she’s got a soft spot for Hocus Pocus.
CONCUBINE As Lucifer’s concubine, Lilith was sometimes used as a bargaining chip. To sweeten deals, the Devil would offer a night with his personal mistress. As such, Lilith sometimes has an unhealthy relationship with sex, viewing it as transactional. She is liable to get in her head about being “good enough”, and struggles to accept when a partner expresses the desire to please her.
TEARS When she cries, Lilith usually tries to cover her face. Either with her hands, in the crook of someone else’s neck, or just by fleeing. Crying is weakness, and Lilith’s weaknesses were always met with punishment. She hides her face both as an attempt to disguise her tears and as a preemptive level of protection for the hit she expects to come.
OLD HABITS DIE HARD Although she is generally much better than she used to be, she does sometimes slip back into old habits. It may be triggered or completely random, but sometimes her self-esteem simply plummets. When this happens, she can go quiet and stop talking, or she might even disappear altogether. Alternatively, she may lash out at the people around her, attempting to provoke them into treating her cruelly because she thinks it’s what she deserves.
CANNIBAL When she eats male flesh, it’s messy and animalistic. Lucifer used to degrade and belittle her for it, telling her how unbecoming it was for a woman to behave in such a way. To this day, she gets very nervous and uncomfortable at the idea of feasting in front of anyone else.
SEXUALITY Due to the life she's led, Lilith will never be romantically involved with a man again. This is not to say she is exclusively attracted to women - she is above human notions and understandings of sexual attraction. However, because of her past with Adam and Lucifer, she would never feel safe being with a man.
